Ho Hum Wednesdays come........

Ahhhh......... now that we all got what we wanted for Xmas (though I must have been bad since Fergie, singer from the group Black Eyed Peas wasn't under my tree) it's now time to get back to work.

My first project today is to move my grinding and cutting bench into another room. Its currently in the same room as my spray booth. Now wait........ I know your thinking WTF are you that stupid to have your bench grinder in with your booth ? Well lets go back and read and you will see I ALWAYS clean my booth area before shooting color and clear so there are no real dust problems to speak of. Also..... the actual grinder and other cutting tools (dremel) are located away from the opening of the spray booth anyway. So I will get that set up in another room so I can work on multiple bodies at once and get them all prepped.

Im sure I will do alot of reflecting this year about........ well this year. Basically the year in general... a big move (OR to AZ), a big job earlier in the year (Nascar Project), a couple really cool big name projects (#42 Gurney Cuda's, #77 Posey Challenger, real Nash Bridges Cuda's and Joe Mannix Barracuda's), and more than a couple neat projects (unrestored 70 Challenger, 74 Race Corvette, 74 Stingray Corvette) and some cool conversions not done by anyone else (70 Super Bee, 70 Coronet R/T, 93 Camaro Hardtop, 02 Camaro Convertible, Eleanor Convertible) and some cool ones yet to come (48 Chevy Woodie with real wood, Quicksilver 1968 Camaro NHRA record holder, 59 Pro Street El Camino, 63 Galaxie straight axle show car, 65 Corvette SCCA car, 68 Coronet 500, 73 Challenger Rally, 68 Dodge Dart) and even some euro cars (04 Lamborgini, 74 Jaguar XKE, 72 Torano GTR) but we cant forget the old school ones either (32 Ford roadster and coupe, 33 Ford Coupe, 34 Ford Coupe, 40 Ford Deluxe and my personal favorite 40 Willys) so you toss in a mix of Mustang's, Shelby's, Road Runner's, Cuda's, Challenger's, Belvedere's, Chevelle's, Corvette's and Camaro's and you have quite the mix of goodies from the past year and this year to come. On top of this a mystery car not made in the whole car industry by anyone but me that will be announced next week. Something I hold close to my vest since its my baby...... my vision...... my passion.... something I hope everyone likes.

So........ was there more reflecting..... sure ...... about how I have become friends with a few more people from vast reaches of this globe.... people whom if were near me I would gladly pop a beer top with and chat about cars till the sun set. Ahhh..... the internet what a wonderful thing. One reason and of course the biggest being without it I would not be able to have this little business but the second one I would not have had the pleasure to meet, albeit not in person, some great people. Funny how that works huh ?

With all that said its time to get to work...... so.......

Ok...... im out

Santa would never leave Fergie under a cactus, no matter how many decorations you stuck to the needles (look Ma, no hooks). It's in her contract. You should have checked with her people. How soon we forget Oregon pine trees LOL.
