Tuesday..... shoot this shoot that

OK......... by shoot I mean pictures. I never got to re shoot the pictures I took as soon as the sun got through the fog yesterday morning. I will take some more today...... maybe. Things are very busy here..... all the new parts showed up but not until 5:30 and the rear valances are horrible and need to be recast. I have no time so they will get used but the production cars will be fine and I hope any potential customers will believe us when we tell them that.

So here are the pictures of the Mustang BBII and the Belvedere with engine shots. Note the induction on the Mustang will be different for the production piece and for Stefan my new CDR customer the stang will have driving/racing seats and a couple other little upgrades. I didn't have time to do it on this car then forgot to mention them on the pics I posted on the diecast chat board. Got it covered man....... got it covered.

I will state now Im not sure how much more posting I will be doing before BJ's. I do enjoy this and it is a release for me which I truly need at this time but I will tell you its going to be iffy to and there won't be anything from Sunday through Sunday thats for sure. Well unless I have a laptop I can tap into.

Well....... I can make 4 good cars (Cuda), well good but with not so good rear valances, and maybe 2 more when I get the next batch of parts today. I will say again, holy moly are these metal parts cool and will be so nice when the system is perfected.

My little rant...... here ya go... last I checked the pictures of the 2 cars I posted on the diecast board had been viewed by like 250 people but there were only 10 comments and some of those were the same people. I do hope I didn't miss the boat here..... I think and well the 8 or 10 that posted thought the cars look great. Heck even a couple said they could justify the cost which means they have a brain in there head, LOL. But still, just on the basis or how the cars looked I guess I thought more would comment. Well.... it doesn't matter anyway, they have the Diecast King to keep them happy with all his mega mods and well.....whining, LOL......... yep I said it...... whining, LOL.

DBII great post yesterday, cracked me up and not the part about me either.... im just a guy with nimble fingers thats all.

OK....... im out

Hey mate.. its jimmi from PUB. Great work.. I always look forward to your blogs. Definitely enlightening and always entertaining. It blows my mind as to how dedicated you are.. kudos..
As for being disheartened with "their" lack of response.. dont be.. small minds mate.
I too am a little disheartened. It seems that if you throw some bodgey wheels and a tach on the dash your king of the PUB. I go to great lengths with all my detail, and never baulked at sharing how and why I do things a certain way. Hell.. I think I changed the way alot of people posted on the pub. Showing detailed steps of what I did. They all started doing the same..
But I really get no positive feedback.. I dont seem to "fit" the crowd on there. So just to let you know.. dont feel discouraged.. jealousy consumes..
Anyway.. thats my rant.. Keep it up mate
    Cheers

    Jimmi

      Hey Jimmi,

Gotta disagree with you on the feedback thing. I, for one, alway post feedback when you post pics on the Pub. I'm awed and humbled by your work and make it a point to say so. No everyone posts their feelings (lots of lurkers) but your work is amongst the best. Keep it up and PLEASE keep posting your work. It's awesome!
