Quickie Friday

OK........ so all we have today is the dry assembly of the Elke.

Couple things to point out....... first off it still needs a few little items done but the 95% effect is what you see. Cool mod..... tough mod..... but still cool. One thing I noticed though is the full side windows on this car. With eliminating the door handles it makes it a task to open the doors. Since the roof panel isn't glued yet it was easy for me but I will talk with the owner about it and see what he wants to do.

Note the hand made fuel cell..... ok, 75% made.... the basic top section came form another car. I then made the sides and glued a fuel line to it. Little Blue squares are the battery box covers. Again not the color in the bed is NOT as bright as in the picture it does match the real better.

Roof section is off on this picture so I could open the door. Note the console and 5 gauges in the center. The blue on the inside is ALOT brighter in these shots then in real life as noted in the door panel picture below.

Underhood shows the  chrome foiled trim piece. This has some wrinkles in it but when final glued will not. It does provide the proper effect though to reflect the customers car.

Interior door panel and paint color..... remember this has a thin piece of sheet plastic cut to fit then trimmed for the interior panel affect. Sorry about the blurry picture.

Ok......I'm out.
