Tuesday....
So after yesterdays LONG blog todays will be a much shorter version.
The day was spent working on 3 different things..... things are defined a little different to me.
First.... I completed the 70 Road Runner project which included a tire and wheel swap, hood swap and black interior swap. I like how this looks a lot. As much as the stock off the shelf car looks nice and is truly rare (1of1) I think this version looks a little more common.

Next I prepped 9 cars for clear coat....I have one more I want to prep today making it an even 10. Prepping a car includes a few things more then just wiping dust off of it. I need to mount all the doors, hoods and trunks since they will be on the car for clearing. I make sure there are no marks in the paint that might need to be touched up or sanded. I of course add the decals, emblems and logos then its line them up on pedestals for ease of moving in and out of the booth.
The one I need to get prepped today is the Eleanor convertible. I have to do some work on the rocker panel GT500E emblems and make the Shelby decals. Sadly my printer cartridge went dry yesterday so I will pick one up today and get that done and probably shoot all these cars late this afternoon.
Lastly..... I finished making a convertible boot for the Ertl brand 70 Chevelle's im converting into convertibles for a dealer. Hopefully this is pretty much a perfect done master so I can resin cast it and pour these so I can get them out of here.
I did have the 144 little panel vans show up for a project I have to do for a cable company on the east coast. This is was I consider the little project...... something I can do part time over a weekend. 144 little vans with 3 large decals per van that I apply while watching TV, LOL.
OK.... well thats about it
Im out !
