Thursday.. I can see CLEARLY.....

So I wasn't able to blog the last couple days so heres the update. First off Tuesday I had a phone hearing I needed to be available for and basically couldn't get into anything deep so I did some piddling around waiting for them. Finally at 2:00pm my time they called to tell me they forgot about me and were rescheduling the hearing for another date. What a waste of a day... but after that I took off did my run too town and picked up my ink cartage and finished making the emblems for a couple cars.

Yesterday was all about clear coating and after dealing with a couple business projects and some UPS issues I finally for to clear coat 10 bodies. As you see pictured here.

All the Chevelle's and the Monte Carlo belong to one customer. This was the guy who didn't want to pay for me to re vinyl top the Monte so it was saved and is masked in the picture. He also wanted me to add lower body dual black stripes and badging to the Gold Motormax 67. This has to be one of the crappiest diecast cars ever made. This was actually a Red car he resprayed with a spray can then I added the emblems, stripes and clear coated it. I tried to talk him out of this so much but hey.... hes the customer and since I have done a couple other cars for him over the years he knows what hes getting. The Black Chevelle with the roof on it is the hardtop/no vinyl conversion and does look mighty nice I must say.

Also note the 34 has little White and Black dots near the rear wheel well...... this is actually a simulated checkerboard pattern like he has on the real car. This car gets the 3 spoke wheels so shes almost done, yeah !

Next we have a picture of Pete's Birds. These are 4 of them..... while the Thunderbird emblem is very noticeable on the Grey one the sun washed them out on the other 3 but I guarantee they are there. Also in the shot is the dragster body which needs some polishing and underside detailing and its out the door.

Lastly..... here are a couple pictures of my..... Ford Only Closet, LOL. I call it this since....... well..... its filled with Ford products ONLY. Where are a the GM guys and the Mopar guys ? Cheap asses.... don't like your cars enough to get any done huh ?

OK....... im  joking about that and I appreciate all the projects I do have but I had to poke some fun at y'all. What I do have though is Mr Mustang..... and what you see are 15 projects.... though 2 are finished and a 16th one isn't pictured. But giving him a run for his money is Mr T-Bird and his 10 different 57 Bird projects.... and one more thats missed so thats 11. Mind you as much as it seems Mr T-Bird is catching Mr Mustang I was informed that he (Mr Mustang) has sent me some 14 more cars for upcoming projects. Either way........ FORD WINS !!!!!!, lol.

Sorry about the blurry picture but I resized it and apparently went to far.

Ok... I have things to do..... my fingers already hurt from what will be A LOT of polishing now that the 10 are clear coated.

To the blogger who wants pictures of the Gurney Cuda roll cage work.... I will post those as soon as I am happy with  how they look.

I'm out !

What??? The Back Alley!!! Where stray dogs roam and pee pee on the tires!! Okay great to see that you are clearing things up and I’m running out of variations for this car. I might have to look at the 1956 line for more projects, but still won’t catch Doug with those either.

Hi - I have a question on the Black 1967 Chevelle. Quote(The Black Chevelle with the roof on it is the hardtop/no vinyl conversion)

How did you fill in the plastic roof to make it look like steel??
    Thanks, RonP.
