Well its been a ok 24 hours..... while I haven't worked on a lot of cars I have gotten a few things accomplished.

The first was finishing the mock up on the front suspension on the 63 Galaxy. See pictures below.... I had to take a picture of it.  I still have to splice the front axle and make it wider. I also shot another picture of Pete's bird with the factory chrome wheels.

Something I learned yesterday...... shoot pictures early in the morning. While I love living here the 100+ temps, 106 yesterday, make the driveway way to hot to lean down on to shoot pictures. This is why they (pictures) are not that great...... my knees and elbows were getting burnt, lol. Even with putting towels under them..... damn heat, LMAO.

Most of the afternoon was spent setting up the decals for the van project. First resizing them to fit properly then fitting as many as possible on the page to be printed. In all it took just short of 10 sheets of decal paper...... pretty much one whole ink cartage and more time then you think. Since these have to be the highest grade I have to change the settings when I print them and then make sure they print correctly.... one error and it will ruin the whole sheet and waist all that ink. Anyway.... once this is done I then had to spray a coat of aerosol clear over them to seal them and will now have to cut them all out to put on the vans. 288 side logos, 144 roof logos and 144 little vans.... this is about as much fun as watching paint dry, LOL.

Speaking of paint.....I did get the Concept Cuda Nash Bridges car shot. I had to free mix the color  to match the production 71 diecast Cuda. Sadly upon inspecting the car this morning the shading on the hood and doors is off enough that they will need another coat of paint which I will shoot this morning. Yellow, for me, is extremely hard to shoot only because it is so transparent. While the parts are shot at the same time the body, doors, hood and trunk are all  shot separately.  Each part got 4 coats of paint but I am always adjusting the flow of the gun as I use used a low temp reducer I have left from winter. See the low temp works best with temps under 70 ......and its about 80-85 in the spray room in the summer so that causes the pant to thicken slightly in the time it takes to do multiple coats. I remedy this by adjusting the paint flow or adding  some thinner to the paint cup. Anyway...that must be what happened since I don't normally have an issue with panel matching.

Ok..... im out !
