Couple days of stuff 7/9

While it doesn't amount to much the last couple days have been spent putting cars together. As much of a pain as it is to take them apart for painting its a more tedious job putting them back together.

Case in point are Pete's T Birds. These cars have so many little things that just don't fit together but have to be fit and screwed together. Most diecast cars have a trunk plug... yanno, the box out, of the trunk.... fits on the chassis then the body fits over the top and holds it in place. Not these birds..... the unit itself is held in with 4 little screws on top of having to remove the spare to get the chassis back on then reglueing the spare into the opening in the trunk floor and to the chassis. See..... just a little more time thats all.

So I got the Gunmetal Grey and Inca Gold birds put together.... along with the reshot Eleanor convertible. I will try and post pictures later today. I will be working on assembling the Willow Green and Colonial White (maybe.... there is a possible problem here) and I need to start polishing out the lineup of Chevelle's and the Monte Carlo. Of course along with this will be the Black 34 Ford and the Dragster body. I can feel my index finger hurting already.... LOL.

Ok...... I'm out !

    John,
    FYI
For the last several days I have noticed that when I enter your blog page from your home page there is at least a full blank page at the top and I have to scroll down to get to the most current blog. If I click on the most current blog under "Recent Comments" it goes directly to that days blog without the blank space. Not a real biggie but maybe worth looking into.
Keep that rub out finger in good shape,
    Dave
